The most popular Indonesian furniture period is Batavian furniture style. The style popular in late 18th to early19th among the Batavian (Betawi: Indonesian original tribe of Jakarta and Tangerang) to furnish terrace and living room.
The design features triple bars ornament the original style. The tables and seatings employ cabriolet legs and cuffed foot similar to European classic furniture, or a straight leg with an arrow foot on the original piece.
